HEALTH - FIT

Exercise classes specifically designed for people living with chronic illnesses. These classes will reduce the symptoms associated with chronic illness as well as improve energy levels, increase self-esteem and reduce the feelings of isolation, anxiety and loneliness that are often associated with living with chronic illness.

 

These classes are suitable for people of all ages living with cardiac, pulmonary, respiratory, joint and mobility issues as well as those living with the effects of chronic illnesses and treatments. 

ACTIVE - FIT

Age-appropriate exercise classes for the active retired.

Based on the Functional Fitness principles, these classes incorporate age-appropriate exercises that are designed to improve overall fitness levels by focusing on biomechanical movements (how the body moves) to build strength, improve flexibility, balance and coordination and increase lung capacity. MAMMY - FIT

​Functional Fitness classes where mammy's can bring their babies. 

​

MAMMY-FIT exercise classes are designed to help mothers gain strength, improve cardiovascular fitness and restore muscle tone after childbirth.

 

As physical activity releases endorphins, these classes will also help improve mood and provide social and support networks for new mothers.

 

INTRO - FIT

A 4-week beginner block of 8 exercise classes designed to reduce the anxiety of stepping into a gym for the first time.

 

Have fun while you learn the ropes and let us introduce you to the world of functional fitness at Medi-Fit!

Over 70’s exercise classes for the legends in our community!

 

Reduce the feeling of isolation in the winter months by joining Medi-Fit’s ‘Legend’s Club!

Age-appropriate exercise classes designed to improve mobility, balance, coordination, strength and flexibility. After class, sit back and enjoy a cup of tea on us. After all, the social element of this group is just as important as the class itself! 

​

Would suit those over 70 who like to take things easy and have limited exercise experience. For the more active over 70's join our ACTIVE-FIT classes.
